On March 3, 2011, the Moscow City Court issued a guilty verdict in the case of the far-right group Autonomous Slavic Resistance.
Let us remind you that 19-year-old Anton Vasilyev, Andrey Gordeev, Konstantin Kucher and 23-year-old Vladislav Polyakov were accused of a series of racist murders, attempted murders, explosions of retail outlets belonging to “non-Slavs”, robberies, illegal possession of weapons, etc. (more details on the charges can be found here ).
A. Vasilyev received 22 years in a maximum security colony, K. Kucher was sentenced to 13 years in a maximum security colony, A. Gordeev – to 10 years in a maximum security colony, V. Polyakov – to 9 years in a general regime colony. In addition, the defendants must pay 1 million 100 thousand rubles as compensation for the costs of treating the victims.
They did not plead guilty to the murders. “ We attacked them so that they would leave Moscow ,” K. Kucher said during interrogation in court.
On July 18, 2011, the criminal collegium of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federationcommuted the sentence .
