New charge added to NS\/WP case

On March 21, 2011, the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation announced that a new charge had been brought in the case neo-Nazi group NS/WP. Kirill Prisyazhnyuk and Herman Wengerveld are charged with clause 3 of Article 223 Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (manufacturing of explosive devices by an organized group).

It should be reminded that an IED weighing 3-4 kg was confiscated in G. Vengerveld's apartment. According to investigators, the device was intended to " eliminate one of the informal leaders the nationalist movement of St. Petersburg, according to another version - for sabotage at an antifa event ."

Recall that in the framework of this case, the first arrests in which took place in February 2010, 11 people pass. Guarded are:

  The defendants in the case are suspected of a whole series of crimes motivated by national hatred, including 10 murders (including the murder of a "companion", whom they suspected of "treason") and 4 attempted murders in period from April 2009 to January 2010.

In addition, they are charged with inciting ethnic hatred (Article 282), robbery (art. 162), hooliganism (art. 213), knowingly false report about the act terrorism (Article 207), and illegal arms trafficking (Article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
