A criminal case has been opened in Moscow against the distributor of Hizb ut-Tahrir literature.

On March 22, 2011, police officers detained a Kyrgyz citizen who was distributing Hizb ut-Tahrir leaflets and magazines on the territory of the Moscow trade fair complex.

A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee under Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (incitement of hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity). Sources
