The Vyatka diocese considered the advertisement of “Divine Beer” offensive

March 18, 2011 Secretary of the Vyatka diocese and member of the regional of the Public Chamber, Archpriest Alexander Balyberdin addressed the company "Vyatich" with a request to remove posters advertising beer from the streets of the city background of the Assumption Cathedral of the Trifonov Monastery and the inscription "Divine beer." The diocese considered the ad offensive.

"Obviously, this advertisement undeservedly glorifies alcoholic beverage, the consumption of which increased in the Kirov region in ten times," the letter says.
