New warnings from Roskomnadzor

At the end of March 2011, the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, information technologies and mass communications ( Roskomnadzor ) updated list of "anti-extremist" warnings issued to media outlets in 2011 year.

Compared to the end of February 2011 , 3 warnings have been added to this list:

• The editors of the newspaper Svoimy Names for publishing an article under the heading "The Kremlin is pushing the people to revolution" in No. 11 (29) of March 15, 2011. Note that in the text of the article does indeed contain direct calls for violence. (Quote: " We are for the destruction of the war in the country, we war is not needed, but war can be destroyed only through war. If you want, so that there are no weapons on the streets, take up arms. In Russia without armed struggle, neither the working people nor the people as a whole will be able to take their rightful place, and the revolution will not be able to win ").

• The editors of the newspaper "Favorite City" for the publication of A. Hitler's quotations in the article by G. Kramich "Fragments of the Reichstag Satisfied" in No. 18 of December 17, 2010. We consider this warning unlawful .

• The editors of the newspaper "Vesti Slavyan Yuzha Rossii" for the publication articles by B. Medem "Partisans went on a campaign ..." in No. 4 (209) for November 2010. Recall that in 2010 and 2009 the editorial office of the newspaper Russia" received warnings from Roskomnadzor. And in December 2010, the main newspaper editor Boris Salomakha was convicted by the verdict of the Krymsky District Court of the Krasnodar region for the publication in his newspaper of the poem "Be Russian!" in 2007.
