April 6, 2011 in the city of Dmitrov, Moscow Region two people were attacked motivated by ethnic hatred.
A native of Kyrgyzstan, Avazbek Bekzhigitov, came in the evening to guests to his friend, with whom after a while he had a quarrel from a previously lost mobile phone. A. Bekzhigitov, shouting nationalistic insults, attacked the man and, threatening to kill him, began hit him on the head first with a bottle and a frying pan, and then grabbed a knife. The victim managed to escape from his offender without being stabbed. However, the attacker did not calm down and attacked another man who was sleeping in a nearby room. Continuing to shout insults and threats to kill A. Bekzhitov hit sleeping on the head with the same frying pan.
Fortunately, both victims were not seriously injured.
A criminal case has been initiated into the attack.
The incident became known in June 2011 from news about sentencing.
