On April 11, 2011, the Belebeevsky City Court of the Republic of Bashkortostan ruled sentence under h. 1 Article. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting national hatred) and Art. 242 The Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (distribution of pornography) to 43-year-old Alexander Izmailov (Epifan Zvezdobolov).
He was found guilty of placing from February 4 to October 8, 2008 there are at least 649 negative anti-Bashkir comments on the Ufa Gubernskaya (UfaGub) website.
For posting comments, A. Izmailov was sentenced to a fine of 150 000 rubles and released from punishment due to the expiration of the period of bringing to criminal liability.
