Muslims of Bashkortostan assured the authorities that following the Hanafi Mashab can be considered “prevention of religious extremism”

On April 20, 2011, a working meeting of the Council for state-confessional relations under the President of Bashkortostan, dedicated to the prevention of extremism.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the presidential administration Republic of Bashkortostan, representatives of the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Office of the Ministry of Justice, chairmen of commissions for interaction with religious organizations, as well as representatives of Muslim organizations of the republic.

IN as a prevention of religious extremism Nurmuhammad Nigmatullin, Chairman DUM of Bashkortostan and Talgat Tadzhuddin supported the traditional directions of Islam - the Hanafi madhhab, the " middle model of Islam ", which “ did not give rise to interethnic and interreligious strife in the country ."
