The court authorized the arrest of a follower of Said Nursi in Nizhny Novgorod

April 26, 2011 Leninsky The district court of Nizhny Novgorod decided to arrest one of the suspects in participation in the activities of the banned organization Nurcular.

Alleged organizer and one of the participants of the religious group, citizens of Azerbaijan, were taken into custody. Three more gave a written undertaking not to leave. However, the consequence found that one of the suspects, who was under house arrest, was trying to exert psychological pressure on other defendants in the case, and in addition plans to violate the measure of restraint chosen by him earlier. In this regard, the consequence petitioned the court to place him in custody. Leninsky District Court of Nizhny Novgorod granted this request.
