Astrakhan region: another criminal case against a Russophobe who attacked schoolchildren

In April 2011, in the village of Buzan, Astrakhan Region, a criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (initiation of national and religious hatred).

The case was opened against 30-year-old Rais Karabasov, whom accused of shouting Russophobic slogans insulting " the Russian-speaking population on the grounds nationality and attitude to religion ", February 5 this year at the evening meeting of graduates in one of the local schools.

Recall that earlier a criminal case was initiated against R. Karabasov case under Part 1 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism based on national and religious hatred), for attacking two 16 year old teenagers.

R. Karabasov is currently detained.
