Verdict handed down in case of neo-Nazi group "Lincoln 88"

On May 5, 2011, the St. Petersburg City Court delivered a verdict in the case of the neo-Nazi group Lincoln-88. 21 people were found guilty, 19 people were punished.

Andrey Linok, Arseniy Naumov, Anton Isakov, Vitaly Nosko, Denis Butkus, Konstantin Yakimov, Andrey Chervotkin, Nikita Obozny, Alexander Sokolenko, Nikolay Kattsyn, Alexander Ulyanov, Andrey Ivanov, Vladimir Smirnov, Kirill Basov, Pavel Povetiev, Yaroslav Milovanov, Dmitry Kornilov, Alexei Sandykov and Alexander Likholobov were unanimously found guilty. In sentencing, the court took into account a number of mitigating circumstances: some of the defendants pleaded guilty, actively contributed to the investigation, committed juvenile crimes. The authority also took into account the jury's verdict announced in mid-April, according to which part of The defendants were deemed worthy of leniency. In sentencing Link, the court took into account that he committed crimes while minors. Moreover, it was taken into account that the defendant suffers from a personality disorder and has a disabled mother.

All the defendants, who until the moment of the verdict were under the signature of on his own recognizance and received real terms, were taken into custody in the courtroom.

Recall, among other things, members of the Lincoln-88 group were accused of committing 12 racist attacks , including two murders .

In total, the group included 25 people, but cases against 6 of them terminated due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.
