Two more criminal cases have been opened against activists of the Krasnodar branch of "Power of Rus'"

May 15, 2011 Belorechensky interdistrict investigative department of the Krasnodar Territory initiated criminal proceedings against the 70-year-old and 53-year-old residents of the city of Goryachiy Klyuch, suspected of participating in extremist organization (part 2 of article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

The men are members of a neo-pagan nationalist organization "Rada of the Kuban Spiritual and Ancestral Power Rus" (more about association "Spiritual-tribal Power of Russia" can be viewed here ). The materials published by the organization were declared extremist in March 2006.

In June 2010, the accused were sent to the administration and subdivision police of the city of Goryachiy Klyuch letters with calls "to overthrow the existing constitutional order, violation of the integrity of Russia, inciting a national and religious strife.

Cases were initiated on the basis of materials received from the FSB in the region. The issue of choosing a preventive measure for activists is being considered.
