On May 19, 2011, a representative of the Moscow city administration announced to journalists that by June the mayor's office intends to form a list of property religious purposes, located in the state and municipal property and subject to transfer to religious organizations.
Objects that belong to the non-residential fund and can be transferred religious organizations, there are 923 in Moscow.
In June 2011, the City also plans to set up a commission "to settlement of disputes arising from the consideration of applications of religious organizations when transferring property”.
