A new anti-extremist warning has been issued to the editors of the Donskoe Vremya newspaper

On May 19, 2011, the Rostov Region Prosecutor's Office announced that it had announced to the editor-in-chief of the Donskoye Vremya newspaper, Sergei Tyukavkin, a warning about inadmissibility of carrying out extremist activity.

Submitted to the Head of the Roskomnadzor Department for the Rostov Region submission on the elimination of violations of the legislation on countering extremist activities and the media.

The prosecutor's office of the region in the course of checking the implementation of anti-extremist legislation The media revealed that the newspaper "Donskoye Vremya" No. 5 for 2010 published information on the restoration of the Don Cossack Republic (Alexander Yudin was elected acting president). In this and other issues of the newspaper there are samples of an application for membership in Citizenship of the Don Cossack Republic within the Russian Federation. Also in the newspaper were found materials "promoting inferiority of a person on the basis of his social, national and religious accessories". Unfortunately, it is not clear from the prosecutor's office what specific materials in question, and the legitimacy of the warning issued is not clear.

Recall that the editors of the newspaper "Donskoye Vremya" have already been issued a warning for the publication of the article "Boris Mironov's speech in Khoroshevsky court on July 28, 2009" in No. 4 of August 2009.
