Nazis and curators

Suddenly there was progress in three high-profile cases: referred to Moscow City Court case on the murder of anti-fascist Ilya Dzhaparidze, and cases on murder of judge Eduard Chuvashov and anti-fascist Ivan Khutorsky united in one proceeding, a suspect was identified - a nationalist Alexey Korshunov.

Why now? The fact is that the state is slow. It began paying attention to neo-Nazis five years ago at least measure. But all the processes of restructuring in the law enforcement system occur very slowly, and, accordingly, the results come not fast. Each investigation in such a case takes at least a year, if but it's not something very simple. Therefore, in total it turns out such a big delay.

In this case (I cannot, of course, know for sure, since it is operational secret) it is clear that this is partly due to the case of Nikita Tikhonov. Because he was not on his own, he was entering a certain circle of people, and this circle of people is not exactly unknown to anyone. These people developed, however, again slowly, but inevitably. I think, that sooner or later everyone who was part of this circle will sit down. Except those who co-operate "earn" his freedom.

In addition, I suspect that effective operatives in essence is not so much. They finish with one, switch to another. And so gradually they move from one small group to another. And on the periphery of this process, many less effective people investigate everything, what comes to hand - where it is better, where it is worse, where it is completely fail the case. But these central cases are being investigated by the best of those who we have.

Undoubtedly, the Tikhonov case played a role here. Specific the circumstances of a high-profile crime prompted to focus on it more resources. And where more effort is applied, there is still more results. I think that if they started to develop any person important enough for this environment, as designed Tikhonov, they would also find a lot of interesting things around him. And I think that so it will be: take someone next, start looking around him. Thus, often the perpetrators of some long-standing crimes that no one wanted to solve.

If a person came to testify publicly, it means that he has already reached understanding with the investigation. This is definitely a deal. Actually, so always happens: cases about some groups, in principle, cannot be investigated if someone does not start to hand over their own. And for what he surrenders, he should be some kind of indulgence. There are many such cases. Can resent that people are evading responsibility for some perfect they are a crime, but otherwise it is really unrealistic to reveal many similar cases. And this is not only Russian practice.

I think that in the center there was still not a “Russian image”, how can appear at first glance. It seems to me that it would be right designate this environment rather as a kind of old hangout associated with "OB-88" and "Combat-18", and some of their younger comrades. "Russian image" is just one of the creations of this party, the most legal.

The environment associated with "Combat-18" and "OB-88" is in fact "the best people”, one might say, of the Russian neo-Nazi underground. And what they do, it's natural. As for curators, there are curators everyone - you, we, they, everyone has curators. This is absolutely not prevents someone from investigating in parallel.

At some point, they can play political games with some neo-Nazis. games, and only people do this; then the situation changes, and they either will no longer be needed for political games, or there will be another need, or they are too presumptuous - anything can happen. Then other people come and by other methods begin to work with them already as with the accused. And this transition from one status to another is very easy, any underground must pass through this story. Actually, you still need to say that all these people have a high opinion of themselves. Rumyantsev also said that he has personal connections with the FSB and that he is covering up the NSO with these connections. How did his connections help him as a result? The only thing that helped him was that he betrayed others. Not connections at all.
