June 14, 2011 it became known that the Department of Internal Affairs of the Tula region began checking the facts set forth in the complaint of the governor of Tula Bogorodichny Shcheglovsky Monastery. The clergyman is dissatisfied with the fact that the local manufacturers of cereal products placed on the packaging of their products the image of St. healer Panteleimon. The inscription on the packaging informs that the product is manufactured "in the presence of the image of the holy healer Panteleimon, consecrated in Bogorodichny Shcheglovsky Monastery in Tula.
The diocese claims that the monastery has nothing to do with to this product.
The monastery demands "to stop illegal actions commercial firm, discrediting the name of the holy monastery".
