Three members of neo-Nazi group NS\/WP face terrorism charges

In June 2011 in St. Petersburg, three members of the neo-Nazi group NS / WP: G. Timofeev, V. Mumzhiev , A. Zavyalov and, according to some sources, G. Wengerveld were charged with terrorism (Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) on the fact of organizing explosion at a bus stop on Zanevsky Prospekt in November 2009. Earlier in this episode a case was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal acquisition and storage explosives) and Part 1 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism).

Reportedly that in August 2009 G. Timofeev read on the Internet about manufacturing methods bombs and, together with A. Zavyalov, developed a plan to commit a crime. After that, from August to November 2009, G. Timofeev gradually bought components necessary for an explosive device, which he gave for storage to Hermann Wengerveld.

November 26, 2009, when all the components of the explosive devices were bought, and the bomb was assembled, Timofeev and Zavyalov chose a place for her bookmarks. Recall that the explosion injured 1 person.

G. Timofeev, V. Mumzhiev, A. Zavyalov and G. Wengerveld are under arrest.

Recall in total, 11 people are involved in the group’s case, who, among other things, are accused of committing a series of attacks and murders motivated by ethnic hatred, as well as organizing several explosions and arson. More detailed for the NS/WP case see here .

Separately, it is worth noting that, according to the law, the presence of Art. 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation deprives the accused of the right to trial by jury.
