July 6, 2011 in the city of Unecha, Bryansk region two young people born in 1991 and 1993 desecrated the city cemetery.
Yevgeny Marchenko and an underage young man vomited and toppled tombstones, pulled out and bent crosses, broke vases for flowers, scattered artificial and natural flowers, broke those on grave toys, damaged tombstones.
In total, they desecrated 40 burial sites, causing material damage in the total amount of 60,000 rubles. It is reported that the crime committed by E. Marchenko "on the basis of hatred for the Orthodox religion."
The ideological nature of the attack became known in December 2011 from the news about the transfer of the case to court.
