Tatarstan: a page of the RNE group was discovered on the social network VKontakte

In June 2011, the prosecutor's office of the Republic of Tatarstan jointly with the Center for Combating Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs revealed in the social network "VKontakte" a group of fans of the banned organization "Russian National Unity" (RNU).

The group was registered under the name "Foundation "Russian National Unity RNE" in Kazan", it included 55 people.

Based on the results of the audit, addressed to the General Director of VKontakte LLC Pavel Durov, the prosecutor's office sent a submission demanding to limit access to this group.

In addition, it is reported that one of the members of the group, registered under the nickname "German Deutsch Anisimov" was brought to administrative responsibility for the demonstration of Nazi symbols (Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation): on his page, the young man posted photographs containing various paraphernalia of Nazi Germany. Unfortunately, what exactly was the punishment young man, undisclosed.
