As it became known on July 18, 2011 from the updated version of the Federal List of Extremist Materials , on May 30, 2011, the Zavodskoy District Court of Kemerovo ruled to recognize two brochures of Jehovah's Witnesses as extremist.
We are talking about the following items on the List:
Brochure "Religion - a stronghold of peace?" Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania 2011; Wachtturm – Gesellshaft, Selters/Taunus (decision of the Zavodsky District Court of Kemerovo dated May 30, 2011).
Brochure "Exercise Zeal for True Worship" Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania 2010; Wachtturm – Gesellshaft, Selters/Taunus (decision of the Zavodsky District Court of Kemerovo dated May 30, 2011).
Apparently, this time the trial was held in secret from the general public. Let us recall that in the same way, in October 2010, the same Zavodskoy District Court of Kemerovo recognized six titles of Jehovah’s Witness magazines and books as extremist; then even the Administrative Center of Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia learned about the court decision from the Federal List. Let us also recall that in the fall of 2010, criminal cases were initiated under “extremist” articles against Jehovah’s Witnesses. Sources
