21 July 2011, the Kosh-Agachsky District Court of the Altai Republic satisfied the claim of the district prosecutor's office and sentenced the local resident Asya Amanov to administrative responsibility under Art. 20.29 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (mass distribution of extremist materials) and Art. 14.1 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (carrying out entrepreneurial activity without state registration as a sole trader).
Recall that Amanova was charged with the sale of the book "Fazail Amali", one of the sections of which contained a brochure recognized as extremist "Tabligh values".
The court sentenced Amanova to fines of 500 and 2,000 rubles. confiscation of said book.
Recall that we believe unlawful banning of this book, as well as the Tablighi Jamaat organization as a whole, since there is no evidence of propaganda and violence by its supporters. Sources
