An investigation into the case of xenophobic videos on the Internet has been completed in Nizhny Novgorod

In July 2011, Nizhny Novgorod completed investigation of a case on inciting ethnic and religious hatred (Part 1, Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

A 22-year-old young man will soon be in the dock a person who is accused of posting several xenophobic videos on the J-net.ru website in 2009-2010, which offend Russians, Tatars, Chechens and Jews, as well as adherents of Orthodoxy and Islam.

The case has already been transferred to the Sovetsky District Court for consideration on the merits.
