Moscow residents demand to stop construction near the Novospassky Monastery

On August 3, 2011, it became known that the residents of Tagansky district of Moscow demanded to stop construction work near Novospasskoye monastery.

One of the local residents told Izvestia that June 12, 2011 on the site of sheds that burned down 5 years ago, the company "Techprofservis" started construction. The district government confirmed that the permission from there is a builder.

At the end of June, inspector of the Moscow State Construction Supervision Service Nikolai Goncharuk reported that the pit dug by the firm, 6 meters from the monastery walls is a "brazen squatter" .

Techprofservice was forced to suspend construction.
