In early August 2011, the Federal Service for Supervision of communications, information technology and mass communications ( Roskomnadzor ) updated the list of "anti-extremist" warnings issued media editors in 2011.
3 warnings have been added to this list:
- The editors of the newspaper "Donskoe time" for the publication of materials under headings "Appeal to a non-Cossack population", "Take citizenship in the Cossack Republic", "Subscription leaf", "Appeal", "Promise" in No. 6 of 2010. We managed to find the texts of only the first two articles, but there we did not see any signs of inciting hatred.
Recall that the editorial office of the newspaper "Donskoye Vremya" is not the first time it has become the object of attention of the department. In May 2011, editor-in-chief Sergei Tyukavkin was issued a warning about the inadmissibility of carrying out extremist activities for publishing in No. 5 for 2010. Unfortunately, we cannot judge the validity of the warning, since it is not clear what specific materials are in question. And in November 2009, the editorial office of the newspaper was issued a warning for publishing the article "Boris' speech Mironov in the Khoroshevsky court on July 28, 2009" in No. 4 of August 2009.
