Orthodox Christians listen to astrological forecasts more often than others - opinion poll

On August 24, 2011, the results of the survey were published, conducted by the service "Sreda" together with the fund "Public opinion". During the study, 1.5 thousand people were interviewed in 100 cities and villages of 44 constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

According to the survey, 57% of Russians believe in the possibility evil eye and damage (69% of women and 44% of men).

37% of respondents listen to astrological forecasts. At more often than other categories, attach importance to such forecasts respondents who identified themselves as Orthodox Christians.
