The conflict of the Samara diocese with local residents began in early August 2011, when construction began in the courtyard of the house No. 144. According to representatives of the diocese, the construction is legal - the diocese has official permission. The diocese intends to build at the temple on the Sixth Glade playgrounds and children's educational center.
In early September, a meeting of the residents of the house was held No. 144 with the head of the department of construction and architecture of the city administration of Samara by Sergey Rubakov, however, within the framework of the meeting, the conflict failed to resolve. City Hall officials promised residents to report the situation to the head cities.
