In Russia, the Presidential Center of Boris Yeltsin is being created. The center of Yeltsin can be considered as a continuation of some state corporation. And what will he do, what is his functions? In another system - European, American, where there are a lot of these structures, the point is not what is the specific program of this particular, presidential or not presidential, corporate or non -corporate, but the fact is that there are a lot of them, and due to their multiplicity, various ideology, and differently, they cover the entire field of public interests and initiatives. This is important, because such a powerful infrastructure of initiations of public energies is needed.

What does a specific center do? There should be a library, it is clear that the center, if it is public, public, should have some signs of a public public place, whether in the form of a library, I don’t know, a powerful server, or access to databases, or something else. These general characteristics of publicity are common to everyone. Everything else is so individual! .. I really like the story, from a completely different field, about how American science teams were designed at one time. What did the design workers do? They took such a long in -depth interview from the chief scientist who headed this or that project for which this science city was created. And they actually traced the way of his thinking into urban space. This is how the paths pass, in what interaction there are residential, laboratory corps, or there is something else. It was his idea of ​​life, of himself, and then it was objectified in some schemes and categories of urban planning, that is, his personality was imprinted in this spatial structure. Here, I think, the same analogy is possible.

The people to whom he trusted imprint into the activities of this center - what Boris Nikolaevich thought about, but did not manage to do during his life. This can be one of the design goals, not software, but design-or, on the contrary, he has been doing something all his life, but he did not do it. For example, he was engaged in the creation of a free press, he had a message in him to create a public media space - so continue, dear friends, I understand that this is not easy. Well, in this sense, there can be many interpretations, they can be very different, but, of course, my idea is very simple-they should somehow be associated with the identity of the founder or the personality of which this fund, the center and so on is created. In general, in our time of the economy and the life of impressions, it is impossible to make depersonalized public spaces made according to some basic standard, that is, some minimum of minimums is necessary, but the rest should be a man of human.

What messages? I was, I am. What can be the target group of such a message? This is really albeit - this is an opportunity to print your personality in the material with non -anthropomorphic. Here is the very case when a standard marketing move - for whom, to which target audience, with what success and so on, well, and with what results - does not work at all. Because the signs of the effectiveness of public spaces are completely different.

It is quite obvious that, depending on a particular project solution, there will be more young people, or more children, or, conversely, people of advanced age.

Museum of modern political utterance. In this sense, Yeltsin is simply a larger and vast figure, in contrast, for example, from the same Viktor Stepanovich Chernomyrdin, who is also an extraordinary person, of course, but Viktor Stepanovich, it is obvious that it will need to be reflected in the tablets and eternity, and Boris Nikolaevich has much more choice. In general, a modern political statement, in the sense of contemporary art, or the museum of preservation of power, as a concept, because, of course, a person is kind of fantastic - I just don’t know such, with such an incredible imperious intuition, and to keep it, and at the right time, it is worth a lot.

During the period of the political era of Yeltsin, everyone was unconditionally recognized, but with different signs, several events, 3-4, no more, which, like those 10 days that shocked the world. This, relatively speaking, is 1991, 1993, 1996 and the rejection of power. Decoding the contexts of these events, working with them, quite possibly, could form the basis of the concept of the museum, the museum of power. There was another episode when he was kicked out of all posts, at Gorbachev’s time, you can still add it - these take -off and falls, yes, maximum stress, absolute split of society ...

Ontogenesis and phylogenesis - in this sense they are synchronized and to the same extent that Yeltsin has changed - this social structure has changed, and vice versa - and it is pointless to discuss where the chicken is, where the egg is in this sense - a person with his time - this is a human person. Another does not happen.

My understanding of Yeltsin is that this is a person of completely unexpected turns, absolutely paradoxical. In this sense, in Russian history - it is most, of course, according to the sculptural expression of Ernst Unknown - similar to Khrushchev. Yes, this monument on the grave of Khrushchev, an unknown Ernst, in two colors, and in this sense a person is very unexpected. And these unexpected transitions of the internal space of the museum, the center, external space, the neighborhood of the glasses with the galleries of contemporary art or something like that.
