October 5, 2011 Khoroshevskaya inter-district prosecutor's office Moscow reported that from the computers on which in the library "TsBS No. 2 SZAO" everyone was taught computer literacy, prosecutors were able to enter the site with "extremist" materials.
In particular, it is reported that a book was published on it Muhammad ibn Suleiman at-Tamimi " The Book of Monotheism ", included in the Federal List of Extremist materials (item 2).
As a result of the audit, a lawsuit was filed with the court with the requirement to "TsBS No. 2 SZAO" to restrict access to this site.
Unfortunately, it is not clear from the news whether the computers content filtering system installed. If not, then the claims of the prosecutor's office lawful, and if the system was installed, then we consider the persecution libraries illegal.
Recall that we follow a similar logic with cases of sanctions against the heads of educational institutions (for more details, see " Sanctions in relation to the heads of educational institutions "in the section Illegal anti-extremism and " Sanctions of prosecutor's offices against heads of educational institutions for the lack of content filters » in the section Racism and xenophobia).
