As we learned in early October 2011, Moscow canceled the decision to suspend the criminal case initiated under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting religious hatred) and another case was initiated under the same article on the distribution of Ron Hubbard's books. In one of these cases, a search was conducted on the premises of the Church of Scientology in Moscow the day before.
The first case was initiated on July 22 2010 upon distribution by the Center dissemination management Dianetics and Scientology materials, "kindling social and religious strife." The suspects in this case were not found and the case was later suspended.
The second case, in which he passed recent search, was initiated on June 27 2011 also on the fact of distribution literature, but this time Publishing group "New Era".
At the time of initiation of both cases, neither one of Hubbard's books did not have an entry by virtue of the decision to ban for extremism (as it doesn't exist now).
Recall that we do not consider it legal persecution of Scientologists and prohibition Ron Hubbard books for extremism. Grounds usually given by the courts to make decisions about the ban, do not have nothing to do with the definition of extremism in law.
