Additional funds are allocated from the budget of the Samara region for the restoration of religious sites

October 11, 2011 Committee of the Samara Regional Duma for culture, sports and youth policy considered a draft law on changing the regional budget for 2012. The budget has already included 135 million rubles. for restoration and construction of religious buildings. The changes involve the allocation of additional 79 million 275 thousand for the same purposes.

The funds are supposed to be directed to the restoration of 7 Orthodox objects (6 belong to the Russian Orthodox Church, 1 - Old Believer), 5 Muslim and 1 Lutheran. Of these, only 4 are cultural monuments.
