In the Voronezh region, on the initiative of the vicar bishop, an inspection of sex shops was carried out

October 6, 2011 year it became known that the prosecutor's office of the Central District of Voronezh initiated cases “on administrative offenses against the owners of salons, selling erotic products in close proximity to educational institutions and the Cathedral of the Annunciation.

The initiation of the case was preceded by an audit initiated by appeal to the governor of the Voronezh region of the vicar bishop of Voronezh diocese of Andrey (Tarasov).

The audit found that the salons "Intim" (st. Mira, 2) and "Carnival of Love" (Mira, 8) are located less than 500 meters from the Annunciation Cathedral, the children's park "Eaglet" and the railway station "Voronezh-1", salon "Eros" (pr. Revolution, 1v) - from kindergartens and schools.

In relation to the owners of these salons cases were initiated under Article 19 (violation of the rules for the distribution of erotic products) of the law of the Voronezh region "On Administrative Offenses".
