Swastikas on shops in Mari El

The 20th of October 2011, the media reported that in the village of Mariets (Mari El) on the wall and doors  two local stores appeared in blue paint in Old Church Slavonic language the inscription "Glory to Rus'!" and the fascist swastika.

Owner one of the outlets reported this to the police. Police arrest 19 year old unemployed suspected of vandalism.
