On October 28, 2011, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Novosibirsk Region announced that the court sent a criminal case against 38-year-old Boris Zhendorenko, an activist far-right movement "Russian National Unity" (a fragment of the Russian National Unity (RNE)).
Recall that B. Zhendorenko is accused of the fact that from March 2008 to March Since 2010, he has been replicating and distributing xenophobic leaflets. One of these leaflet was posted on the basement door at the entrance of a residential building in Dzerzhinsky area. In addition, the defendant made a video and posted it on page of one of the social networks on the Internet under a fictitious name and surname.
The case was initiated by the investigator of the Zheleznodorozhny Interdistrict SO under Part 1 of Art. 282 Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (actions aimed at inciting hatred and enmity, as well as humiliation of the dignity of a person and a group of persons on the grounds of nationality, origin, committed publicly), as well as Part 2 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls for extremist activities made using MASS MEDIA).
Recall that in April B. Zhendorenko was already sentenced to 1 year of imprisonment under part 1 Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, and in May the court sentenced him under Part 1 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and under Part 1 of Art. 282 UK RF. In addition, was initiated a third criminal case , which is now pending before the court.
