Oddities of two sentences

It is clear that in terms of time the verdict in the Sviridov case is timed to "Russian March". In addition, a verdict was passed on Manezhka, and just about the trial for the murder of Volkov will end. That is, it is such a complex signal real and potential participants of the march: the state, on the one hand on the other hand, does not approve of riots, but on the other hand, cares about the same thing they care about - about "ethno-crime".

In the case of the murder of Sviridov, I would like to note two points. Firstly, the fact that Cherkesov was given 20 years for the murder is not surprising. It was murder with a weapon, he was not attacked, he was generally in a fight entered separately. It cannot be said that this sentence is too harsh. out of practice in such cases.

But for five years the rest - it's a little strange. If subtract Cherkesov with his shooting, then the two companies grappled because of some nonsense, fought and caused each other light harm without using weapons. It is not clear why this is qualified as hooliganism, and not causing minor bodily harm. Five years for them is a lot, more, than it should. People got an unsuccessful companion, let's say so. Wouldn't be there is Cherkesov with a pistol - there would be no talk of any five years for them walked.

As for the "Manezhny case", it is difficult to objectively assess the degree the severity of the sentences, because in general we have very little practices regarding sentencing for participation in the riots. In this case people are accused of kicking riot police during mass skirmishes. It is not very clear how this should be punished. There is some big the injustice is that quite severely punished a few man, although many more people kicked riot police, and this happens when any mass clashes. Why should these people be punished so severely when others are not? Why are these guilty? all the rest - at least dozens of people - were not to blame? There is something wrong with justice.

I can assume that the investigation is developing someone else and the case comes to new lawsuits. But for now it feels like more no one was caught. Maybe there is someone else, we just don't know?

If the matter is limited only to this process, the picture will look like very strange. It is clear that these people from the "Other Russia" are not the first the violin was played in the riots. Or I just wanted to catch the National Bolsheviks, or they were watched better, therefore they were caught first.
