Russophobic attack in Voronezh

In October 2011, a Russophobic incident was committed in Voronezh attack.

The incident began with the fact that a 20-year-old native of North Ossetia Magomed Tutaev, walking around the city with friends, saw a group on the street local young people with whom the girls were. Provoking conflict, he, passing past the company, pushed one of the young people with his shoulder. After becoming the conflict flared up, M. Tutaev began to shout Russophobic and anti-Orthodox slogans and a fight ensued. During the scuffle, Tutaev first beat one of the young people with a metal rod, and then with the same rod he hit the girl several times, who tried to stand up for your friend.

The injured young man received several blows with a cane on the head, as a result of which he was diagnosed with a concussion, as well as open wounds on his face, on the place of which subsequently formed scars, disfiguring the face.

The incident became known in July 2013 from the news about the sentencing of M. Tutaev.
