On November 2, 2011, it became known that the department of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation for the Pskov region refused to register the new charter of the Church of the Myrrh-Bearing Women. The reason for the refusal is the provision of “inaccurate information about the full name of the Organization and the non-compliance of the content of the minutes of the meeting of members of the Organization with the requirements of clause 1, article 15 of the Federal Law of September 26, 1997 N2 125-FZ “On freedom of conscience and religious associations” and clause 23 of the Charter of the Organization , registered on December 28, 1999 by the Office due to the lack of information in it about persons - members of the Parish Assembly of the Organization who took part in the Parish Meeting on August 25, 2011."
The discrepancy lies in the fact that, by order of the ruling bishop, the founders listed in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and members of the parish were excluded from the parish assembly. Instead, the meeting was attended by persons unknown to the registration authorities.
