In Cheboksary, a verdict was passed in the case of posting Hitler’s book “Mein Kampf” online
October 31, 2011 Kalininsky district court of the city Cheboksary of the Chuvash Republic rendered a verdict in the case of initiation national hatred (part 1 of article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
A 25-year-old local resident was in the dock Yu., who was accused of posting Adolf's book on the local file-sharing network of one of the local providers Hitler's Mein Kampf.
According to part 3 of Art. 1 of the law "On countering extremist activities”, the works of the leaders of the National Socialist Workers’ Party Germany and the Fascist Party of Italy refer to extremist materials and, therefore, prohibited from publication and mass distribution.
The court found the girl guilty and sentenced to 100 hours compulsory work.
