An anti-fascist march took place in Moscow

November 4, 2011 in Moscow on the Taras Shevchenko embankment, a procession took place under anti-fascist and anti-capitalist slogans. According to our estimates, about 300 people took part in it.

The action was organized by Autonomous Action and the Russian Socialist Movement. In addition to representatives of these movements, activists from the Left Socialist Action, the Committee for a Workers' International, the F.A.K.E.L.-P.O.R.T.O.S., the Direct Aid Anti-Racist Initiative, and other parties and associations, including several representatives of the Solidarity movement.

The demonstrators carried slogans and banners "For unity, against nationalism and capitalism", "What is Cairo, what is Moscow - only struggle gives rights!", "Freedom to Urusov!", "Craving for freedom is stronger than all prisons! No to political repressions!", " No to social terrorism", "There are no illegal people", "War on the bourgeoisie, not migrants", "Capitalism breeds fascism" and others.

The procession participants chanted "No to fascism, no to capitalism!", "Alert, alert, anti-fascist!", "We are 99 percent!", "Go out into the street - take back the city!", "The enemy of the soldier is the general, the enemy of the workers is capital! " and many other chants of traditional content for such events.

A few speakers called for unity in the fight against fascism and capitalism, since it is associated with the generation of fascism.

The action ended without incident. According to the "Ridus" agency, after the bulk of the participants, accompanied by policemen, went to the "Kyiv" metro station, 4 people were detained.
