New rally in Khotkovo

On November 4, 2011, a spontaneous rally was held in Khotkovo (Moscow region) near the Yubileiny cinema. Among the requirements put forward by the participants, was the expulsion from the city of all illegal migrants from Central Asia and the Caucasus.

The event was attended by about 150 Human. This time, the reason for holding it was the attack on a 13-year-old girl by several young people, presumably natives of Tajikistan.

Riot police were on duty at the rally and several cars with police officers. The crowd tried to block the road, but this was interrupted by police officers, who began to take the protesters away from roadway. After that they dispersed. In total, the police detained about 15 people. Leaflets were pasted around the city calling for the next gathering in a week.

Recall that a year ago in Khotkovo there was also a rally and a gathering with similar demands. The reason for the "descent" was the conflict that occurred on October 26 near the store "Kopeyka" between a group of three residents of Khotkovo and two natives from Tajikistan, as a result of which one person died and another was hospitalized with stab wounds. The day after the rally, natives of Central Asia and the Caucasus left Khotkovo, one of the dormitories where guest workers lived burned down. And district councils and shops fired " foreign workers ."
