Fined for distributing extremist materials

On December 20, 2011, the Murom City Prosecutor's Office of the Vladimir Region reported that a local the resident was fined under Part 1 of Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (propaganda and public display of Nazi paraphernalia or symbols or paraphernalia or symbols similar to Nazi paraphernalia or symbols to the extent mixing), Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (mass distribution of extremist materials included in the published federal list of extremist materials) for 1,500 rubles for the distribution of materials on the Internet, recognized by the court as extremist, and images of Nazi symbols and paraphernalia.

The violation was discovered during a prosecutor's check conducted jointly with employees of the FSB in the Vladimir region

In addition, the man also distributed xenophobic materials. The prosecutor sent to the court an application for the recognition of these materials as extremist.
