Sociological survey: 77% of Orthodox Christians do not participate in parish life

On January 11, 2012 the results were published sociological survey conducted by the Sreda service and the Public Opinion Foundation in 100 settlements of 44 subjects of the federation. During the study it was 1500 people were interviewed.

According to the data received, in the life of Orthodox parishes are involved 15% of the respondents, of which only 1% can be classified as active parishioners.

77% of those who called themselves Orthodox in parish life did not participate, 28% of them would like to do it.
