The LDPR leader unsuccessfully tried to attract the leader of the “Boundary of the North” under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation

On January 12, 2012, right-wing websites reported that that the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party unsuccessfully tried to attract under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting national hatred) leader of the national-patriotic organization "Frontier North" by Alexei Kolegov.

On December 7, 2011, V. Zhirinovsky wrote a statement asking the prosecutor's office to initiate proceedings against Kolegov on the fact his speech at the North Frontier rally on November 26, 2011.

A. Kolegov was summoned for a conversation to the prosecutor's office, where in response he immediately wrote a statement with a request to bring V. Zhirinovsky to criminal responsibility under part 1 of article 306 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (obviously a false denunciation).

The investigation refused to open a criminal case to both "due to the lack of elements of a crime." In case of refusal, the investigator referred to paragraph 7 of the Resolution Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation No. 11 "On judicial practice in criminal cases of crimes extremist orientation” dated June 28, 2011, which states that " criticism of political organizations, ideological and religious associations, political, ideological or religious beliefs, national or religious customs should not in itself regarded as an act intended to incite hatred or enmity .”
