In Moscow, Orthodox Christians at a rally in support of Putin decided to create the Holy Rus' party

On January 21, 2012, an Orthodox rally "For Holy Rus'!" was held on the Taras Shevchenko embankment in Moscow. in support of V. Putin. The organizer of the action was the Russian Cultural and Educational Foundation named after St. Basil the Great and the agricultural holding "Russian Milk". According to the organizers, 2.5 thousand people took part in the rally, according to observers - about 800.

The participants held black-and-yellow imperial flags and chanted slogans: “Glory to Russia!”, “Put an end to police lawlessness!”, “Down with Nemtsov, Prokhorov and Navalny!”, “Putin for president!”, “We are Russians – God is with us! ”, “Let us feed Russia!”, “Stop the illegal criminal prosecution of Boyko!”.

During the rally, it was decided to create the party "People's Movement "Holy Rus'". The organizing committee, in particular, included Vasily Boyko-Veliky, his confessor (a priest banned from serving) Alexey Averyanov, Anna Boyko-Velikaya, actor Albert Filozov.

Recall that V. Boyko-Velikiy, the head of the Russian Milk agricultural holding, previously ordered his employees to study the military-industrial complex and get married, canceled holidays on February 23 and March 8 at his enterprises and consecrated the chapel in honor of Ivan the Terrible. In addition, his company is in conflict with another entrepreneur over land, which was one of the reasons for the rally.

In January 2011, the head of the Synodal Department for Relations between the Church and Society, Archpriest Vsevolod Chaplin, spoke in favor of creating an Orthodox party.
