A criminal case has been opened in the Rostov region for the article “Petr Molodidov: for “Cossacks” for the Cossacks”

On January 23, 2012, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Southern Federal District and the Federal Security Service for the Rostov Region reported that in relation to one of the leaders of the non-registered Cossacks of the South of Russia Petr Molodidov, who is serving time for a double murder, has a new criminal case under part 2 of article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls for the implementation of extremist activities).

In places of deprivation of liberty, Molodidov “carried out active work, aimed at spreading the ideas of the superiority of the "Cossack nation", implementation of violent actions aimed at changing the foundations constitutional order, violation of the integrity of the Russian Federation and the creation of a separate Russian Federation independent independent Cossack state "Cossack". Molodidov published in the newspaper "Cossack look", published in Kaluga region, with his article "Pyotr Molodidov: for the Cossacks for the Cossacks". The article was recognized extremist in December 2011.

P. Molodidov has several convictions for fights, hooliganism, and murder. In 2003, P.Molodidov was convicted by the Rostov Regional Court under part 2 Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder of two persons, committed with special cruelty) for the murder of Mikhail Mushikyan and Yuri Balikchan and sentenced to 17 years in prison. Other gang members received from 5 to 23 years in prison.
