On January 24, 2012, the Lomonosovsky District Court of the city of Arkhangelsk ruled sentence to 23-year-old Artem Morozov.
He was found guilty under Part 2 of Art. 280 (public calls for the implementation extremist activity), Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (incitement of national hatred or enmity).
Recall that Morozov on June 4, 2010 under the pseudonym "Art" posted an anti-Azerbaijani comment on website of the information agency "Echo of the North", published on 29.05.2011 article “In Arkhangelsk on the site of the burnt down Azerbaijani restaurant Vstrecha” dog grave discovered.
A. Morozov fully admitted his guilt in the charges against him.
This crime was revealed by the Directorate of the FSB of Russia for the Arkhangelsk region.
The court sentenced Morozov to 1 year of imprisonment on probation. for a period of 2 years.
