Baptists of Balashikha won a lawsuit against the city administration

On January 19, 2012, the text of the decision of the Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region dated November 23, 2011 on the claim of the Church of Evangelical Christians-Baptists "Ark" against the administration of Balashikha was prepared.

In 2004, city officials demanded that the Baptists demolish the prayer house and return the land. The Moscow Arbitration Court of Appeal declared this requirement unlawful. After that, for several years the city administration did not allow the completed building of the prayer house to be put into operation.

In 2011, representatives of the community applied to the Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region with an application to invalidate the decision of the administration of July 29, 2011 to refuse to issue a permit to put the building into operation.

On November 23, 2011, the court granted the church's claim.
