Directors of Orthodox schools and the patriarch oppose cuts in funding for non-state schools

On January 24, 2012, the directors of Orthodox gymnasiums in Moscow were an appeal was drawn up to the Ministry of Education and Science with a request “to once again pay attention to problems with financing of non-state Orthodox schools”.

January 30 2012, it became known that school principals were supported by parents who applied to Vladimir Putin, and Patriarch Kirill, who sent an official letter to the Mayor of Moscow, which he asks to "fix a situation worsening the situation of Orthodox schools and their students.”
