Police officers intend to conduct an inventory of the property of the Suzdal ROAC communities

January 25, 2012 by an employee police of the Suzdal region Vladimir region, an inspection of the relics of Suzdal saints, stored in the Iberian Church of the Russian Orthodox Autonomous Church (ROAC).

According to "Portal-Credo.ru", the inspection was recorded in the protocol and carried out “on an application sent to police or prosecutor's office Dimitry Letka, Rector of the Kazan Church ROC MP, and parishioners of other churches of the Moscow Patriarchate. Journalists also reported the intention of the police officers to conduct an inventory of personal property deceased Metropolitan Valentine (Rusantsov) and an inventory of the property of the monastery community located in his house.

Archbishop of the ROAC Theodore (Gineevsky), heir to the Metropolitan by will, sent a statement to the Department of Internal Affairs refusing to allow to the property of Mr. Valentine third parties.

On February 27, 2012, during Great Compline, a notary of the Suzdal notary district with an assistant arrived at the Iberian Synodal Church of the Russian Orthodox Autonomous Church (ROAC) in Suzdal and informed Archbishop Theodore of their intention to describe the property of the Synodal House. The corresponding request was received from the Territorial Administration of the Federal Property Management Agency. The archbishop refused to allow those who arrived to the Synodal House, referring to the fact that there is no property of the Russian Federation in the building.

On February 22, STRC "Vladimir" released a story about the intention of the authorities to seize from the ROAC the relics of St. Euthymius and Euphrosyne of Suzdal stored in the Synodal House. The authors of the report reported on the impending trial.
