In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the investigation into the case of a racist attack on a native of Tajikistan has been completed

On February 1, 2012, the Prosecutor's Office of the Kamchatka Territory announced completion of the investigation into the case of a racist attack on a native of Tajikistan Sh. Shonazarov, which happened in July last year.

A local resident A. Pepelyaev will soon be in the dock, who is accused of inflicting beatings motivated by ethnic hatred (par. “b” Part 2 Art. 116 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

The case has already been transferred to the justice of the peace of the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky for consideration on the merits.
