Pressure on activists in Tula

On February 1-3, 2012, it became known about the pressure on activists opposition in Tula, which was provided by employees of the Center for Combating Extremism. A campaign of threats was waged against Left Front activists Tatyana Shamanskaya and Zhanna Pozdnyakova. ABOUT pressure from the Center "E" also said the Tula journalist Valery Otstavnykh. The police called T. Shamanskaya and Zh. Pozdnyakova and tried to make appointments as the activists are " going to call at the rally for overthrow of power ." After both women refused to talk without official agendas, employees of the Center "E" appeared at the place of their registration, where they threatened the parents of T.
